Digital divide and participation in virtual community mental health spaces
Main Article Content
Abstract
Differences in access, connectivity, and device availability can influence people's participation and continuity in online community interventions.
The value of listening rounds lies in their ability to create a safe, horizontal space where people can speak freely and where shared experiences can alleviate, even if only for a moment, the weight of everyday concerns. The difference between those who participate without difficulty and those who encounter barriers highlights a central challenge for community mental health, especially in a region where inequalities in connectivity continue to shape everyday life.
