Abstract

Nocardiosis is an infection caused by bacterial species of the genus Nocardia. Pulmonary nocardiosis is a serious infection that mainly affects immunocompromised patients and is associated with high morbidity and mortality.
Accurate laboratory diagnosis associated with the patient's clinical presentation and other imaging studies is very important for correct treatment.
